A narrow swath of 2 to 6 inches of snow fell across south-central Nebraska the morning of January 23. The snow area was only about 30 miles wide, but extended from northern Dawson county to southeast of Hastings, and into parts of northwest Thayer county. Some of the heavier snow amounts included 6 inches at Roseland, and 5 inches at Heartwell, Lawrence and Odessa.
