Slow moving thunderstorms produced torrential rainfall in parts of central and western Massachusetts, with 2 to 4 inches of rainfall reported from the east slopes of the Berkshires to Worcester County. Storm totals included 4.70 inches in West Springfield, 3.90 inches in Greenfield, 3.82 inches in Royalston, 3.75 inches in Belchertown, 3.54 inches in Orange, 3.30 inches in South Deerfield, and 3.00 inches in Hampden. There were no reports of flooding.
