Heavy rainfall of three to five inches in less than two hours caused localized urban flooding along the U.S. Highway 27 corridor from Haines City south to Lake Wales in Polk county. A few vehicles incurred water damage from the urban floodwaters at low-lying intersections along the U.S. Highway 27 corridor in Polk county.
