Ice accumulations of up to one fourth of an inch were reported in extreme southeast Arkansas during this event. Throughout the event, temperatures remained close to the freezing mark. Also, initial precipitation was very light. Therefore, although freezing rain occurred much of the day, damage to trees and powerlines was relatively minor.
