High Wind in Alaska, November 22 to 23, 2000
On the heels of a large Pacific storm that brought very strong winds to most of Southeastern Alaska, this low press ure system wielded a second round of high winds for Prince of Wales Island less than 24 hours later. The peak wind associated with this event was recorded at Hydaberg Seaplane Base at 68 mph.
