Another round of persistent northwest flow behind a strong cold front produced orographically enhanced snows across the higher elevations of Preston and Tucker Counties. Snowfall totals of 4 to 7 inches were reported at several locations over the mountain ridges of the counties.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.
