Flood in Washington, December 15 to 16, 1999
The Wynoochee River flooded for only the second time in the past 30 years. Up to nine inches of rain fell in a 24 hour period over the Olympic Peninsula which caused some homes to be flooded with up to four feet of water.

The Wynoochee River flooded for only the second time in the past 30 years. Up to nine inches of rain fell in a 24 hour period over the Olympic Peninsula which caused some homes to be flooded with up to four feet of water. During the same flood event, there was also major flooding on the Snoqualmie and Tolt rivers.
