Microburst type winds from a thunderstorm caused damage in a localized area. The storm lasted only seven minutes, but an extensive amount of damage was reported at one particular spot. Windows were blown out of a house while wood was ripped off the barn. The winds tore branches 5 inches in diameter off trees, In addition, 3 half ton hay wagons were blown over. One hay wagon mounted to a pole in the ground was dragged 35 feet. Just two miles down the road, only some rain was reported.
