The thunderstorm became severe in south central Garden County just southeast of Oshkosh and crossed the county line in western Keith County and travelled to near Brule in southwest Keith County. The swath of the hail storm was approximately 4 miles wide and 25 miles long, and it brushed the northeast corner of Deuel county. The wheat on about 64,000 acres was destroyed.
