Strong winds occurred across southeast Michigan behind a cold front during the afternoon and evening. The winds did not reach high wind criteria, with peak gusts generally in the 45 to 50 mph range. The highest gust, 55 mph, occurred at the National Weather Service Office in White Lake. In Flint, the wall of a building under construction collapsed.
