Flooding in Kansas, April 26 to 29, 1999
Runoff from yet another round of locally heavy rains on wet soil conditions caused some rivers to go a little above flood stage for a few days. The Kansas River was at or just over flood stage in many areas from Manhattan to Lawrence which caused some minor flooding of low lands and loy-lying roads near the river.
