More thunderstorms with heavy rain moved over ground that was saturated by flooding rains in previous days. Rapidly rising water briefly covered parts of the U.S. Highway 41 interchange with Interstate 64. Average rainfall between 1 and 2 inches was enough to overload drainage systems on some Evansville city streets.
