What happened
The episode as NWS ILX wrote it up.
A tornado touched down 4.2 miles east northeast of Marbletown (Fulton Co.), knocking over several power poles. Then it crossed the river into Mason County 4.5 miles south southwest of Havana. It hit one home causing the roof to collapse and sent bricks from the home into several houses across the street. Numerous wood projectiles (2x4s and 2x8s) were blown into a garage and porch of another house. A wheelbarrow was blown into one of the windows of the house and the garage was moved several inches off its foundation. The roof and upper floor of the garage (2 story) sustained damage. As the tornado moved east numerous trees were blown down before the tornado lifted and dissipated 3 miles south of Havana. No injuries were reported. Damage in Mason County was estimated around $500,000.
