A stationary thunderstorm complex dropped an estimated 2 to 3 inches of rain from Cascade to Smith's Ferry with public reports of water over Highway 55 and a hillside washout.

A strong cold front moved through the Treasure and Magic Valleys with wind gusts of up to 73 mph reported in Mountain Home and gusts of up to 70 mph reported at the Twin Falls Airport. Numerous reports were received of downed power lines and broken tree limbs throughout the Upper Treasure Valley and the Western Magic Valley.
