During March 21 and 22, a coastal storm produced a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain across southern Vermont. The precipitation fell mainly as snow in the higher elevations. Snow totals in Windham County generally ranged from 5 to 9 inches. Snowfall was much lighter over Bennington County, due to the snow frequently mixing with and changing to sleet and freezing rain.
