Golfball size hail combined with strong winds of over 50 miles an hour lasted for nearly one half hour. One hundred percent of the crops in the area were destroyed. Some paint was stripped off a farmhouse along with a lot of structural damage to outbuildings. According to the reporter, it seemed like a blizzard.

High winds gusting to near 60 mph lasted for several hours across eastern Edmunds and all of Brown as the result of a wake low behind severe thunderstorms. The high winds caused a lot of tree damage and also brought several trees down.
