A thunderstorm developed across western Bradford county around 7:35 am EDT. It quickly intensified and produced small hail in both Gillette and Troy. At about 8:00 am EDT, the cell briefly reached severe limits as dime sized hail was observed in East Smithfield. Thereafter, the storm weakened as it moved into eastern portions of the county.
