Heavy Snow in Oregon, December 7 to 8, 1998
A strong, wet Pacific storm dumped copious snow on the Northern Oregon Cascades in one of the heaviest dumps of a snowy month. Santiam Pass reported 22 inches of new snow, while Timberline Lodge had 20 inches, Bennett Pass 19 inches, Mt Hood Meadows 17 inches, Willamette Pass 16 inches, and Government Camp 12 inches.
