Low pressure moved into the Canadian maritimes Wednesday (December 30th) with the associated arctic front moving across the area early Wednesday (December 30th). Very cold air was ushered in on strong winds. Snow squalls occurred across the area with between 2 and 4 inches falling in the mountains.
