A severe thunderstorm dropped nickle size hail in Whitehouse Station. The thunderstorm also produced frequent lightning and caused power outages throughout Hunterdon County. About 2,100 homes and businesses lost power in the county. There were also some widely scattered outages in neighboring Warren County. The most outages were reported around the Hackettstown area.
