Thunderstorm wind gusts downed trees and power lines and caused other minor damage across much of the county. A restaurant under construction in O'Fallon was damaged by the wind. A tractor-trailer was blown off Interstate 70 near the intersection with Highway 79. At least 11,000 homes and businesses lost power.
