A strong squall line moved southeast across south central Indiana and then into central Kentucky. Widespread damage reports were received from DES, spotters, state police, media and the public. Most of the damage was fallen trees and power lines. A couple of trees fell on cars in Louisville. 70,000 people lost their power in Louisville as the line moved through.
