Thunderstorms moved slowly south across the county, producing spotty but significant wind damage along their paths. In the community of Commerce, numerous trees and power lines were blown down in the north portion of town. One tree fell on a two-story home, and several trees were across roadways. A mobile home was moved several feet. In and around the community of Lusk, several large trees were down. One tree narrowly missed a house. Another fell across power lines. A farmer in this area recorded a wind gust to 68 MPH.
