The Ohio River crested 2 to 4 feet above flood stage at most locations along the western Kentucky side. The crest at Paducah was 43.2 feet on the 21st, and flood stage is 39 feet. At Uniontown, where flood stage is 37 feet, the river crested at 41.5 feet. Flooding of agricultural bottomlands was moderate. Some roads near the river were affected.
