An area of thunderstorms formed over eastern Nebraska and moved southeast into southwest Iowa. The storms produced severe weather as the moved into southwest Iowa, but weakened rapidly shortly after entering Iowa. High winds were reported east of Corning in Adams County, and a farm shed was destroyed there.
