A winter storm over Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois produced widespread snow across the area. Accumulations were mainly in the 2 to 4 inch range, however a swath of heavier snow fell across Bureau, Henry and Putnam counties with amounts ranging from 6 to 11 inches .

A winter storm over Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois produced widespread snow across the area. Accumulations were mainly in the 2 to 4 inch range, however a swath of heavier snow fell across Bureau, Henry and Putnam counties with amounts ranging from 6 to 11 inches . Numerous accidents were reported due to the snow and several schools sent students home early.
