Scattered heavy rain showers and thunderstorms were noted over the Upper Treasure Valley and the Boise Mountains. In Boise a heavy rain shower overloaded the storm drain system. Reports of up to 8 inches of water on roads and intersections were reported, with water pressure blowing manhole covers off of the manholes. A small mud slide was reported in the Boise Foothills. In the Boise Mountains a thunderstorm triggered a flash flood of mud and debris over the Middle Fork Boise River Road west of Atlanta near milepost 60.
