An upper level jet stream over northern Colorado produced bands of heavy snow. Snowfall totals included: 10 inches at Hohnholz Ranch, 9 inches, 9 miles west-southwest of Rustic, 8 inches at Rand and 7 miles east-northeast of Virginia Dale, 7 inches, 9 miles northwest of Livermore and 6 inches at Walden.
