Flash Flood in Colorado, April 14, 1998
Rainfall on melting snow produced a large mudslide which covered a one-quarter mile section of Coal View Road with mud and debris up to 20 feet deep. The mudslide blocked access to the Coal View Guest Ranch and destroyed a shed as well as three utility poles.

Rainfall on melting snow produced a large mudslide which covered a one-quarter mile section of Coal View Road with mud and debris up to 20 feet deep. The mudslide blocked access to the Coal View Guest Ranch and destroyed a shed as well as three utility poles. The mudslide also pushed a trailer close to the banks of the Yampa River.
