Scattered heavy thunderstorms developed in the late afternoon of June 7th, mainly in eastern Siskiyou County. Rainfall ranged up to nearly two inches in just two hours. In downtown Yreka, rapid runoff flooded Main Street with three feet of water, threatening businesses and the firehouse.
