Storm Surge in Alaska, August 20, 1998
A strong Storm moved north over the Bering Sea resulting in moderate winds across the west coast,and heavy surf on the coast of the Seward Peninsula. No damage occurred at Nome, however, minor flooding was reported at Unalakleet.
