Damaging Winds in Nebraska, August 20, 1998
An isolated down burst wind from a severe thunderstorm toppled trees and some power lines just north of Ashton. Corn fields near the down burst sustained minor stalk breakage and some hail damage by the small hail and wind which pelted the area.
