Heavy rains produced by the passage of a tropical wave, former tropical depression number five, caused flooding in Guaynabo, Bayamon, Toa Baja, Toa Alta, Dorado and Rio Piedras. Rainfall of two to three inches was recorded in parts of the metro area Sunday. Carraizo's water reservoir increased 19 centimeters in 72 hours.
