As the storms mentioned above continued to develop in the very unstable airmass, one became severe briefly in Davis County. This event appeared to be a downburst event as it was very isolated and did not effect a large area. Winds of around 70 MPH caused damage on a farm near Bloomfield. Hail also accompanied the storm. Some of it up to one half inch in size. Though not severe, considerable damage was done to crops in the area due to the hail and high wind.
