A 32 year old male was injured by lightning while leaning up against his kitchen sink. The lightning struck outside his apartment, travelled through underground pipes, then up into the apartment to the sink. The 275 pound man was thrown over four feet from the electrical discharge while leaning against the steel sink. His injuries consisted of tingles and numbness on the left side of his body.
