Thunderstorms produced torrential rain across Central and Southern Rockland County. Doppler radar estimated 4 to 5 inches of rain fell during 3 hours over this area.There were several reports of serious widespread street flooding in Nanuet, West Nyack and Orangeberg. Streams and brooks rose significantly with some overflowing their banks.
