Several streets were flooded, including Redmon and Martha Berry Streets. At 9:00 pm 3.6 inches of rainfall was reported, and by 9:15 4.5 inches of rainfall was reported in the area. Seventy to eighty people were evacuated from a public housing project. Thirty apartments were damaged by water.
Whitfield road was closed due to water covering the road north of La Grange. Troup county 911 also reported a creek was flooding Hightower Road..
