Strong prefrontal winds blew down numerous large Aspen and Pine trees on the Grand Mesa. Many trees were snapped off 3 to 4 feet above the ground.

Strong prefrontal winds blew down numerous large Aspen and Pine trees on the Grand Mesa. Many trees were snapped off 3 to 4 feet above the ground. One tree fell over the hood of a pickup. Power lines were felled and roads were blocked by the fallen trees.
