Moist upslope winds, caused by a strong upper level storm system located over east central New Mexico, produced snowfall amounts of 4 to 9 inches across thhe Wet mountains and southern Sangre de Cristo mountains. Trinidad reported 4 inches of new snow and Cuchara logged 9 inches.
