A strong, slow-moving storm system dumped heavy snow on most of the state. The Snowbird ski resort received the most with 38". Generally the mountains received 1-3' of snow. Nephi and Kanab had the most in the valleys with 15". Several small avalanches occurred fortunately with no one being hurt. Numerous traffic accidents and other minor damage occurred.
