Strong west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph developed across the Antelope Valley. In Lancaster, the strong winds produced blowing dust which reduced visibilities to near zero. These reduced visibilities were responsible for three separate accidents, involving ten vehicles. No significant injuries were reported.
