Strong winds blew across most of western and central Wyoming on this day, but the damaging winds were confined mainly to the Lander area. Emergency Management Official in Lander estimated that up to 30 percent of the homes in Lander were damaged.

Emergency Management Official in Lander estimated that up to 30 percent of the homes in Lander were damaged. Numerous large trees were also blown over. Damage estimated at $530,000.
