Long-duration rainfalls registered 3.21 inches in 24 hours ending at 0600CST on the 18th in the city of West Bend. Two-day rains totaled 4 to 5 inches over many other parts of Washington county. The result was a slow rise in water levels in many rivers, streams, and creeks, with some exceeding flood stage. Resident basement and business flooding was reported across the county, and several roads were closed due to high water levels in low spots. Sewers backed up, and there were scattered reports of road shoulder washouts. Rural farm land had soil erosion and crop damage.
