Heavy rainfalls of around 5 inches early on the 17th resulted moderate river flooding along the Sugar River and its tributaries north of Broadhead. Lowland flooding washed out or eroded much farm land both upstream and downstream from Broadhead.

Heavy rainfalls of around 5 inches early on the 17th resulted moderate river flooding along the Sugar River and its tributaries north of Broadhead. Lowland flooding washed out or eroded much farm land both upstream and downstream from Broadhead. The river at Broadhead crested at 8.33 feet at 2005CST on the 19th, or 3.33 feet over flood stage. Six township roads were closed thru the 20th.
