Thunderstorms during the evening hours on the 14th produced flash flooding, damaging lightning and damaging winds in southwestern Campbell County.Thunderstorm winds downed trees in portions of southwest Campbell County.Heavy rainfall flooded numerous secondary roads across southwest Campbell County, especially between Evington and Lynch Station.Lightning started a fire which destroyed an outbuilding 2 miles north of Altavista. Lightning started a fire which damaged a house 1 mile north of Altavista.
