Lightning struck and the subsequent fire completely damaged a Buckingham Township home. Lightning struck the rear of the house and started a fire. Firefighters managed to confine the fire to the rear of the rancher, but the rest of the house sustained heavy heat, smoke and water damage that destroyed its contents. No one was injured.
