A strong Pacific storm brushed the Oregon Coast with high winds. On the North Coast Tillamook reported 46 mph sustained wind with gusts to 60 mph. On the Central Coast Sea Lion Caves reported 45 mph gusting to 64, Newport 42 mph gusting to 65 mph and Siuslaw sustained winds of 40 mph.
