A strong storm moved north over the Bering Sea producing blizzard conditions, heavy snow, and locally high winds across the west coast of Alaska. Peak Winds reported: Zone 24: Gambell 39g53 kts, Zone 6: Unalakleet 37g43 kts, Zone 5: Point Hope 38g50 kts, Kotzebue 43g53 kts.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.
