Severe thunderstorms produced wind gusts to 60 mph one mile southwest of Morrisville. Several trees were toppled and the wind blew the roof off a home at the Penn Valley Trailer Park. As a result of these thunderstorms, about 40,000 PECO (Philadelphia Electric Company) customers lost power throughout the Philadelphia area, with the greatest concentration in Bucks County.

Damaging wind gusts toppled more than 25 trees in the College Hill area of Easton. In Forks Township and Wilson Borough more trees were also uprooted. In addition, in Wilson Borough a porch was destroyed and several cars were damaged by trees falling on them. About 2,700 customers lost power during this severe thunderstorm.
