Reference #13404, #13405: 635 deaths, 5 missing. The number of fatalities in this earthquake had experienced a sharp spike. Previously, onThursday (1/12), 329 people died. Meanwhile, on Monday (12/12), the Regent of Cianjur reported that the number of fatalities had touched 600 people. He said, this surge occurred because there were approximately 265 casualties that were not reported by the family. Reporting from the Instagram account of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Kab. Cianjur on Wednesday (21/11), as many as 593 people were seriously injured and 114,683 residents were forced to flee. Meanwhile, for other damage data, the BPBD recorded 16 sub-districts consisting of 169 affected villages. At least 56,548 houses were declared damaged with details of 13,633 houses heavily damaged, 16,059 moderately damaged, and 26,586 lightly damaged.
